Thank you so much awesome readers, for all your kind words in response to my last post. You didn’t have to say those nice things, but I’ll admit that it surely made my day. The positive energy, uplifting thoughts, and genuine friendships I feel with you FAR outweighs any negative vibes I may occasionally get. I’ve long wanted to do a little something something for you, and I recently got an idea.
Not too long ago I was given a box of spectacular vintage Christmas cards. They are so cool they kinda make my head spin. Most of them are probably from the 50′s, but there are possibly some from the early 60′s as well. I’ve had such a blast sorting through them and choosing my favorites. But a girl only needs so many vintage Christmas cards (as festive as ever she might be), and once I had set aside plenty for me, there were still so many left! I want to share a little Spectacular with you! Now obviously this giveaway isn’t for everyone, but I know there have got to be others like me who just lick their chops over this kind of stuff. I can’t wait to deck my halls with these, although I don’t know quite yet what I’m going to do. (maybe a bunting banner, or just pin them up, or maybe even something like this?) Got any brilliant ideas? There are three separate bundles (15 cards thoughtfully selected for each bundle), so I will choose three separate winners. Last time I had a giveaway I think there was like 8 people who entered, so if you want them, your odds are good my friends.
To enter I want you to tell me 1) how you would use these cards, and 2)which bundle you would prefer. That’s it. If you know someone who would really love this giveaway then by all means tell them to scoot on over (unless you don’t want to lessen your own odds..heh heh) You have till this Thursday the 24th of November (aka Thanksgiving) to enter, and I’ll announce the winners on Friday via email (be sure and leave it!), and ship them as soon as I get the addresses. Are you excited? Me too!
Bundle #1 or Shopping With Judy (what do you think is in those boxes? My money is on cuff links and a tie for the Mr.)
Bundle #2 or Don and Dotty (it sure was a different time, wasn’t it?!)

and Bundle #3, or Christmas with MJ
(I love the middle one here–it looks like Rudolph is stalking Santa)

Sign this girl up! I think the Christmas bunting is a fantastic idea- I would do that. And maybe frame my favorites for a little seasonal wall art. Bundle one ( second choice three) please:)
What a fun giveaway! Bunting is an awesome idea. Or maybe frame ‘em in a gallery sort of fashion, grouped together in our entry. I’d sure love to win! I’d choose bundle 3- I love the aqua in many of the cards! Thanks for having this giveaway!
These are awesome! I love anything vintage. I think they would make a cute bunting banner. They are all cute, but the first and third are my favorite.
Those cards are fantastic! I love the first bundle, but would be happy with any! I would put the cards up on the inside of my front door in the shape of a Christmas tree. Awesome giveaway!
Any of these would be wonderful. I have some cute frames, that these would be fun to frame a few, and share the goodness with my sister. Thanks!
I love Don and Dotty (Bundle #2). They look like eight-year-olds that have been married for 50 years.
No idea what I’d do with them yet, since the possibilities are practically endless and I haven’t even touched them yet. Right now I’m thinking I’d tape them to string and then tack them to the ceiling and let them hang in the entryway for everybody to see when they come in.
Woo, I hope I win! I’m using all my birthday mojo to pull the odds in my favor.
Happy Birthday!!! I hope you win too.
Wow! How nice of you! I had a hard time choosing my favorite, but I think I like the second bundle the best, and I might mod podge them to canvas or shoe box covers to make a nice little collage for the holidays!
Thanks for the chance!
I love the 1st and 3rd bundles! Both are absolutely gorgeous! I would make some kind of bunting or Christmas card tree out of them!
They are all fabulous. I would just put them out as if they were all sent to me
What a fun idea and they are so adorable! I’m pretty sure some would look delicious framed in vintage-y frames sitting around the house~!
who can go past Don and Dotty…absolutely hilarious???!!! …i think i would make that particular card into a place mat for my other half and stick it right under his nose every christmas to remind him to say lovely things to me
Now i am intrigued, if you are giving Don and Dotty away, what other gems did you get???
Peace out sister xx
Oh you better BELIEVE I’ve got some gems. It was actually really hard with me to part with some of these though…I’ll be honest. I felt like I was six and hoarding my Halloween candy.

I remember this, and your situation was ten kazillion times worse than mine. It definitely makes you take a step back, doesn’t it? But whatev, right?? I’m just gonna do my thing of course, and love it. How are you?! I have been HORRIBLE and checking people’s blogs lately too, so I have no idea what’s going on with people’s lives…..It’s so hard to keep up! Let’s do something soon!
I really love your ideas but I would use them in my scrapbooks, cards & tag making. I really love Bundle no.1 then my next fav is bundle no.3, I have already envisaged how they would look on my Christmas cards. Thanks so much for the opportunity
I love the idea of making tags from them! Great idea!
I would love #3 or #1. I would frame them-well not all of them that would be a lot but I think having them as art would be really cool and I don’t have any art for the holidays. Well I have nothing this charming. Some nice thrifted frames spray painted festive gold would do the trick. And I would even send you a picture so you could see your lovelies in my home. (Obviously, trying to win by bribing.)
Ah, I live me some festive gold thrifted frames….love this idea!!
LOVE these! I love vintage Christmas so much! Love the deer card and vintage Santa in bundle 3!
This is great fun, but personally, I think you should give your readers a song for Christmas, too.
So, I just happened to have recently purchased a very vintage tin Christmas card holder! I was planning to use it to display this year’s cards, but how awesome would it be to let the vintage holder hold vintage cards! It’s what it was made for after all!!
I LOVE group #2.
I would give these cards at gifts ! My friends are mostly vintage collectors and Christmas is our one holiday where we exchange vintage gifts !It would be fabulous to have bundle #2 after all who can resist a snowman ?
