I was pretty excited to have Krista from Lazy Saturdays sew for me–she’s so talented, so creative, and so so nice! Really, I just gotta say, I’m always so inspired to rub shoulders with talented people, but I was equally inspired with how kind and genuine Krista was. She made this adorable polka dot pencil for me (see her tutorial here), which I love! I totally love the forest green, and the large polkas make it interesting and textual, which are things I look for in anything I wear! Thank you, Krista! I love it!

I styled this with an old XXI top that I dyed yellow last year, and a gorgeous silk floral scarf that I was lucky enough to find at DI once upon a time. The green in the scarf was perfect with the skirt, and I always seize any opportunity I might have to mix prints.

Skip on over to Miranda’s to see my Waist-Not Trouser Top in action–can’t wait to myself!

Oh you look so so cute!!! I love the yellow with it and the mixed prints! I had so much fun refashioning for you!
