Sunshine all over the place.

So my husband accused my home-decorating style as being old-grandma-y. In an attempt to modernize (slightly) my living room, I picked up this lamp at DI (SCORE!) I stenciled the roses on the shade in white for a subtle prettiness, because of course I can’t just leave anything the way it is.

And I thought some print art might go nicely with my lamp, so I made this in Illustrator. I totally got the idea from something I saw somewhere on my internet roaming, and if by some twist of fate the artist sees that I’ve copied their idea: take it as a compliment! It’s just for my living room, I promise.

ps the color looks so weird here! It doesn’t look blotchy at all in real life.
