You’ve come a long way, Baby! Remember the first one you made, out of a soda bottle cap? It’s almost a shame to cover up any of the prettiness with pins!

I am just commenting to say that I love each and every thing that you post on this blog. This site has ousted CraftZine as the first place I go when doing my crafty blog rounds. Please keep up the fantastic work, it’s great crafty inspiration.

That is sooo sweet. Your pins have to be loving their new home. I am having some serious pincushion envy. I want to ask where you got the pattern but my gut tells me you winged it…
Would you mind sharing some general steps? :)

      Sure!
So it’s all made from craft felt, and the two circles on top and bottom are about 3 5/8″ in diameter. The middle is a rectangle measuring about 2 1/4″ X 13″. I sewed the rectangle’s short ends together with a 1/4 inch seam, and then embellished the top circle with various flower designs layered on top of eachother, and sewn on with embroidery floss. I then just sewed the top and bottom to the middle rectangle (now tube) with a whip stitch. When I only had about an inch or two left to whip stitch, I stuffed it and then finished it. That’s it!
