The first thing is patternreview.com. Do you already know about this? Am I the last on the boat? Well, if you don’t and you’re a sewing junky like me, then happy birthday. This website (free to join) is an amazing resource. It’s pretty much a database where people can review all things sewing related, so patterns, sewing machines etc. I recently discovered it when I was confused at the Twinkle Sews madness, and then boom, I bumped into all these reviews that were so helpful in figuring it out. And there’s usually a picture too, which is great for trying to visualize how the piece will turn out in real life. Anyway, check it out. It’s pretty cool.
Secondly, I’m jazzed about Vogues new patterns! I took a peeky yesterday, and I already can’t wait to have a normal body again so I can rock these beauties! A girl can look to the future, right?
(I would make the sleeves go around the whole arm, rather than a cap, but I love the collar and silhouette).
