They have some BEAUTIFUL pieces at Marquis and Camus–are you referring to a specific piece or just in general? It looked like most of their flowers were made from chiffons and light silks and laces. When making flowers, the most important factor to look for is LIGHTNESS and texture. Look for light cottons, chiffons, silks and laces. I sometimes use lining fabric because it’s so light, cheap, and burns well. Good luck! And I would love to see whatever you end up making!
